Finding
Opportunity
Within
Complexity

Corporate events, from mergers and acquisitions to special situations, create opportunities for mispricings – which in our view are especially interesting in Europe, with its diversity of languages, regulations, legal processes and cultures.

The team have been investing in this complex and nuanced region for much of their professional careers. At Westbourne River Partners, we have built a seasoned team of specialists with diverse skills and experiences, as well as a deep network of local experts.

We benefit from our key strategic relationship with Tetragon and its stable capital base, and our access to institutional-quality infrastructure through its TFG Asset Management platform.

Together, these advantages enable us to source and remain invested in opportunities others may miss or not be able to act on.

Alert and Adept Across Europe

Our niche, size-constrained approach, supported by stable capital, allows us to focus on what we view as more attractive and less crowded opportunities which are often off the run for larger funds focused on the major indices.

Our name is inspired by one of London’s historic rivers, the River Westbourne, which today runs underneath the city, right by our offices and through a conduit spanning across the Sloane Square tube station. The river originally brought drinking water into the City of London and in 1730 was dammed to create the Serpentine in London’s Hyde Park.  We chose the name because we like the idea of finding alpha in unexpected places being reflected by a river hiding in plain sight.
